Infrared

I recently got my hands on an infrared digital camera... only for a couple days, but still, all sorts of fun.  Back in college I shot a few rolls of infrared film, but this was my first time using a digital infrared.  Now keep in mind, there is no photoshop trickery here, this is is a standard Nikon D70 with the sensor converted to infrared.  I have the camera till Thursday, so expect to see a few more of these.

Gorgeous photos (and I'm sure a blast for you to get to use that camera). I went so far in my photography studies (pre-DSLR) that I have never heard of infrared film nor digital infrared cameras...

I am fairly certain, after seeing these, that I've seen photos shot with the film though. The are breathtaking, D.

Wicked. How's it look when shooting people?

Very interesting work. I like the first one with the cabin the best. I think the rest would be more exciting if there were more narrative attached. Additionally, I really like your new website. It looks like the Barth women and former Barth women are fairly well represented; i guess it's cause we're so photogenic and generally attractive!Good choice to keep that shot of Matty as the 1st portrait; personally i think it's one of the strongest portraits you've taken.
